Something simple

Even after all of these years it still amazes me how easy it is to get distracted when I first go into the studio. To find something to clean, someone I really need to call, or be drawn toward that Death Star that is the computer.

Experience makes it easier, thankfully, but there was also a great tip I got from one of my instructors at VCU, Harold North, that I want to pass along: Always leave yourself something simple to start with for tomorrow. Because like many challenging things in life, it’s just about taking those first steps, isn’t it?

On that note, here are a couple of pieces that I have been wrangling with. They are small, relatively simple, and I am not sure about the disembodied heads. We will see if they stick around or not.
